— Sherry Stalley, a locally well-known TV personality, has announced her intention to run for the state House seat occupied by Rep. Bryan Barbin, D-Johnstown.
“I think it’s time to have fresh eyes with the issues. The main issue is finding jobs that sustain families,” Stalley, 45, of Richland Township, said Friday.
Stalley, who’s running as a Republican, said she also is concerned that public education doesn’t suffer because of budget cuts.
She said her background as a journalist has given her insights into the issues of the day.
